Brenda came back and once again caught me a bit off-guard.  She had a quick wardrobe change and came back this time dressed in a catholic school girl outfit, it had a crest on it with the words 'reform school' written across it.  Shirley's  session was temporarily interrupted so I could get some quick shots of Brenda, which will better explain the background choice.  I kept the same setup as Shirley (which was a mistake) and had Brenda pose on the same chair in a manner where she's pulling up her stocking.  I did not notice the background had an old style religious painting in it when I took the shot.  After reviewing the photo, it seemed a bit sacrilegious.  I'll have to do some post processing to darken or blur out the background.  After that, I finished up Shirley again.

Next was JaJa, a nicely figured lady with a Polynesian look.  She came attired in a very nice dress with some type of sequence.  The detail came across nicely in the photos.  I can appreciate the special coatings on the Mamiya lenses that keeps items like these and say jewelry from flaring.
I also thought, since her dress was white and she had a darker skin complexion that it would have caused me to overexpose the dress and loose detail. But the light placed up high worked out well because the light would fall off, over the dress and even out the exposure.  I had JaJa pose in as many ways as I could think.  I photographed some nice full length shots using my 80mm AF lens (I had her stand way back into the living room).  Auto-focus is the way to go especially in low-light situations.  JaJa was scheduled to be dressed up like a geisha girl, but we ran out of time.  We also missed the shots outside with the house, It was still light out, but no more sun-light.
This photo shoot was a long session (about 7 hours) but the time went by quickly.

The photo shoot went well, the mono-lights worked much better, the laptop, digital back and Valeo software worked without a problem. I tipped the soft-box over only once, and caught it.  Almost all of the photos were keepers. I took well over 200 photos.  And that was it for that photo shoot, I hope to do more with Lindsey in the future.

The next photo shoot will be at an engagement dinner at the Beverly Hilton for Donna.  There will be Persian food and dancing!

The photos for this session will be posted shortly.
